You blinked your eyes opened as you glanced around your room lazily, your (e/c) orbs catching the time that read 7:15 AM. 'Crap...I'm gonna be late for school...' you thought with no emotion. It was already Monday and of course; that meant you had to go to school.
Sitting up you scratched the back of your head with a yawn as you slowly got ready for school. Double checking that you had everything you needed you went downstairs to see your mom making some chocolate chip pancakes. Yum, your favorite, too bad you had to grab a poptart out of the cabinet and had to leave right now or else you'd be late. "Sweetie, what took you so long to get up? Are you really only going to eat that?" your mother bombed you with questions as you were about to exit the kitchen.
"Yeah...I forgot to set my alarm and if I don't leave now; imma be late. Last thing I want. Anyways, see ya when I get home mom!" you called out as you closed the door behind you. Turning around to start walking you weren't even able to take one step because standing in front of your house was the one and only hot-headed Italian: Lovino, who was leaning against his red sports car.
Blinking you walked up to him and gave him a questioning look. "...good morning?"
"Buongiorno bella. You want a ride?" he asked flicking his head slightly to the car. Blinking again you tilted your head with pure confusion.
"Um...yeah...sure why not?" you answered with a small smile. As soon as the words left your lips he opened the door for you and you hopped in humming a soft tune. He closed the door and made it around to the other side before hopping into his car as well. Smiling at him you looked at the radio to see the clock, only for your smile to disapper.
"Lovino...it's already 7:50...if we don't make it in 10 minutes, we'll be late!" you cried pointing at the glowing digits. At this Lovino only gave you a smirk as he ordered you to put your seat belt on. Poor little naive you gave him, again, a confused look and nodded. Once he heard the click of the seat belt he stomped his foot on the gas and the car took off speeding at about 100 mph.
Gripping onto both the seat and the seat belt you tried to hold in your screams as Lovino drove madly down the street spewing curses in Italian at all the 'slower' drivers. The only thing going through your head at the moment were two little thoughts. The first one; why was in front of my house? The other; am I going to live?!
He came to a sharp stop in the school's parking lot you head bobbing like a bobble head. "Alright bella, we're'a here. " Lovino said as he turned the car off.
"I think…I think my life flashed before my eyes…and it was booorrriiinnnggg!" you whined sadly getting out of the fancy car. The Italian only rolled his eyes at your words and got out as well and locked his sports car. "Wow…we still have a total of 7 minutes left…" you said in disbelief when you looked at your watch.
"You're welcome." He replied with a sly smirk. You grinned at him before you answered.
"Thank you so much Lovino. I've always wanted to know what a near-death experience felt like." You joked and he chuckled slightly.
"Now you know, bet you'a can't wait to'a tell your friend."
"I can't! Have you seen Glacie anywhere?" You both laughed as you walked into the school.
----in the school parking lot---
"…what was that?" Glacie asked as she saw the whole little scene unfold in front of her.
"Mi little tomate was smiling~!" her brother sang as he clapped both hands together. The younger girl gave her brother a confused look. "Que?" he asked with a grin.
"Didn't you just see that? He was so…out-of-character!" she exclaimed as she stared at the two through the school window. Antonio only laughed at her actions and tried to explain that he wasn't 'out-of-character' as she said he was. "Whatever. Let's go before we're late…that or your weird friends show up." She muttered as she walked into the school. 'I will find out what the hell happened just now. I swear.' She thought.
